Fed: Jewish group warns of new racist political party

SYDNEY, Aug 8 AAP - A national Jewish anti-racism organisation has warned a new political
party is a front for the racist Citizens Electoral Council (CEC).

The B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC) said a new party, the Curtin Labor
Alliance, had applied for registration as a federal political party according to print
media advertisements placed today by the Australian Electoral Commission.

The ADC said the Alliance was a front for the CEC, the Australian arm of the Lyndon
LaRouche racist political group.

The CEC has publicly claimed the world was on the verge of a financial crisis engineered
by an alleged group if Jewish bankers who used London as their base to subdue the world.

"By attempting to pass itself off as a bona fide grassroots labour movement, the CEC
seeks to garner public support and political legitimacy," ADC public affairs director
Benseon (Benseon) Apple said in a statement.

"The application by the racist CEC to register as a party with the deliberately deceptively
titled name Curtin Labor Alliance represents a blatant attempt to woo traditional Australian
Labor Party voters.

"Prime Minister John Curtin would turn in his grave if he knew that his name was being
used to promote support for a racist group."
