A pan-Islamist group which relishes signs of turmoil in today's society as an indication that past glory days are soon to return, had its plans for a second annual meeting dashed when the hotel cancelled its booking without explanation.
In a June 24 email reviewed by the Jewish Star, Roberta Spangler of the Marriott Oakbrook confirmed the cancellation of the July 11 event. No reason was stated.
