Qld: Warnings of further storms as cyclone season continues

BRISBANE, Feb 8 AAP - Queenslanders were today reminded to expect more severe stormsand flooding as the cyclone season continues until April.
As flooding in central Queensland began easing today, Emergency Services Minister MikeReynolds said despite the tragedy of the last few days, communities should not becomecomplacent.
Nine central Queensland shires - most of which had been hit hard by the drought - wereyesterday declared natural disaster areas following torrential rain from ex-Cyclone Beni.
