NSW: Scully should be sacked: Oppn
SYDNEY, Jan 17 AAP - The NSW Opposition has renewed calls for former Transport Minister
Carl Scully to join the RailCorp managers who were sacked in the aftermath of the Waterfall
train disaster.
This week's release of a damning report into the train crash which killed seven people
highlighted a string of safety failures contributed to the disaster in Sydney's south
on January 31 last year.
Opposition deputy leader Barry O'Farrell today blamed Mr Scully and Premier Bob Carr
